FAQ

PET SITTING
How long does a visit last?
A visit is typically 30 minutes although occasionally it can go longer if the pet seems to need more attention.
What types of pets do you take care of?
All kinds!  As long as your pet is people friendly we will take care of not just cats and dogs but also parrots, reptiles, chickens, rabbits, ferrets and more.
Are you insured, do you do background checks?
Yes, all of our pet sitters are employees, not contractors so background checks are performed, we carry the insurance and they are held to our company standard of excellent care.
Can I tip my Pet Sitter?
Absolutley!  Tips are not required but are always appreciated.  100 % of the tips go directly to the sitter.
Will you take my dog off leash to the park?
We follow all city ordinances so unless the park is designated as an off leash park we are unable to take your dog off leash.
DOGGIE DAYCARE
Will my dog have access to water?
Yes, all of the dogs ALWAYS have access to water here, even when separated for a nap or lunch.
How long will my dog get to play for?
Why do you take the collars off of the dogs?
Sadly many dogs across the country have been injured or even killed by a jaw getting caught in another dogs collar or by the collar getting attached to a crate during alone time.  We use leashes carried by the staff to move dogs and feel the risk is too great to keep collars on dogs while playing or being kenneled.
Dogs in daycare are able to play all day from 6:30am until 7:00pm.  Midday, dogs do tend to rest and relax, if you watch our webcams at about 12:00 you will see a bunch of napping dogs.
Do you take all dogs?
Daycare is not for every dog.  Your dog must be social with both dogs and people.  New dogs are slowly introduced to the group and monitored for high anxiety or aggressive behavior.
BOARDING
Can my dogs sleep in the same kennel?
Yes! We kennel dogs from the same household together unless you request otherwise.  We have bigger kennels for multiple dogs.
Why do you require a playday prior to boarding?
We want to insure the safety and comfort of all of the dogs that stay with us.  In order to do that we must pre-screen our boarding dogs to make sure this is the right environment.
Can we bring my dogs own food?
Please do!  It is so much better for the dog to stay on his own diet especially when staying in new surroundings.  We can accommodate all types of meals; dry, wet, raw or homemade.
